Dashboard Page – End-User Guide

This guide explains how to use the Dashboard in your practice management system. The dashboard provides a high-level overview of your work, helping you monitor assignments, tasks, deals, and client activity.

Welcome Section

At the top of the page, you will see a personalized greeting with your username and job title. This confirms that you are logged in and operating under the correct role.

Overview Cards

The summary boxes display key figures related to your customers and business activity:

  • Customers: Shows the number of customer records you have.

  • Contacts: Shows how many individual contact records are linked to your customers.

  • All Deals: Displays the total number of business deals in the system.

  • Open Deals: Shows how many of those deals are currently in progress.

These values help you understand the volume and status of client and deal activity at a glance.

Assignments Summary

The assignment section breaks down the current state of assignments across the team or business.

Each category displays:

  • The number of items

  • The total count

  • The percentage of the total

Assignment categories include:

  • Open Assignments: Assignments currently being worked on.

  • Closed Assignments: Assignments that have been completed.

  • Assignments on Hold: Assignments that have been paused or deferred.

  • Unassigned Assignments: Assignments not yet allocated to any user.

  • Archived Assignments: Assignments that have been moved out of active workflows.

Progress rings visually indicate the percentage of total assignments in each category, using colors to highlight urgency or completion.

Task Summary

This section provides a breakdown of all tasks linked to assignments, projects, or customers.

Task categories include:

  • Open Tasks: Tasks that are active and in progress.

  • Closed Tasks: Tasks that have been completed.

  • Overdue Tasks: Tasks that are past their due date and require immediate attention.

  • Upcoming Tasks: Tasks scheduled for future dates.

  • Tasks with No Date: Tasks that have been created but do not yet have a due date assigned.

This area helps users and managers stay on top of workload distribution and identify bottlenecks.
