Assignment details
When you open an individual assignment, you're brought into the Assignment Detail View, where you can track progress, update task status, and access related information. This interface is organized into tabs for quick navigation and clarity.
Navigation Path
At the top, the breadcrumb shows where you are:
Assignments → [Assignment Title] This helps you return to the full list or understand your current context.
Main Tabs
Dashboard
The main landing view summarizing the status and key information about the assignment. May include due dates, owner, and priority.
Overview
A general description of the assignment including goals, context, and instructions.
Tasks
Lists all associated tasks linked to the assignment. Track status, deadlines, and completions here.
Customer
Displays the customer or client linked to the assignment, including their contact details.
Shared Content
Shows any notes or documents intended to be visible to collaborators or external parties.
Files & Attachments (0)
Upload or view related files. The number in parentheses indicates how many are attached.
Comments
A thread for user comments, questions, or internal communication related to the assignment.
How to Use
Use the tabs to quickly navigate between sections without leaving the assignment view.
Keep documents and notes organized under Files and Shared Content.
Collaborate directly via the Comments tab.
Always check the Tasks section to ensure everything linked to the assignment is progressing.
Best Practices
Use the Dashboard tab to get a high-level summary before diving into specific tasks.
Keep the Overview clear and up to date to help new assignees quickly understand the assignment.
Upload all relevant documentation to Files & Attachments to centralize your work.
Use Comments instead of emails to keep conversations contextual and easy to track.
